SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Program Description
The Hooptie SMS program sends:
- Account & security messages — one-time passcodes (OTP) for login and identity verification
- Deal alerts — notifications when vehicles matching your saved engines hit the market
- Service updates — occasional messages about your subscription, billing, or product changes
- Marketing messages — offers, promotions, and product announcements from Hooptie (only if you opt in)
2. Consent
By checking the SMS consent box during sign-up, you give your prior express written consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Hooptie at the mobile number you provided, sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may still use the Hooptie service without opting in to SMS by contacting us at support@hooptie.io to receive alerts via alternate channels.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the deal engines you configure. On average, active users receive between 5 and 40 messages per week. High-volume users who set up multiple engines with instant alerts may receive more.
4. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all messages sent to and from Hooptie. Hooptie does not charge a separate fee for SMS messages beyond your subscription. Check with your carrier for details on your messaging plan.
5. How to Opt Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text STOP to any message you receive from Hooptie. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and you will not receive further SMS messages from us. If you want to re-enroll, sign up again as you did the first time, or text START to resume.

7. Supported Carriers
The Hooptie SMS program is available on major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket Wireless, and most regional and prepaid carriers.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier and is not guaranteed. T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of (or authorized to provide consent on behalf of) the mobile number provided. By opting in, you represent that you meet these requirements.
9. Privacy
Information you provide in connection with the SMS program is handled per our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your SMS opt-in and phone number are used only to deliver the messages described above.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
